I'm a bunch of different nationalities, blood type A (not sure about rH), very into sci-fi and 80's cartoons and anime, and love animals (especially my two cats). When I was little, I wanted to be an astronaut, but now I'm a social worker by trade and work in mental health with adults. I spend a lot of time trying to remember the entirety of the songs stuck in my head and trying to figure out how they got there, even more time thinking about people who matter to me, a good chunk of time pondering the state of the world we live in, and then a good lot just pondering spiritual stuff. I'm a big-time sports fan - I'm originally from Philly, so if me cheering on the Phils and Eagles is going to be a problem, sorry! Last thing, and this is really important -- I HATE the movie "Grease." So there.

I label myself these days as "Conservadox" because my past has been rooted in the Conservative movement, but these days, I'm leaning much more toward Modern Orthodox. Judaism is a very central and important part of my life and my identity. It keeps me rooted and gives my life meaning and peace. Israel also means a great deal to me -- I'm firmly Zionist. Sadly, I still haven't been to Israel, but as soon as I can go, I am there!!
