I like to debate, dance, explore, and laugh. I think it's a mizvot gedola lihiyot b'simcha tamid, but I'm still a Yekke. Often I'm an extrovert among introverts, and sometimes an introvert among extroverts. My favorite activities/hobbies are yoga, bicycling, making silly jokes, and laughing. Lately I have been addicted to the elliptical machine at the gym while listening to NPR and catching up on the New York Times; I'm really not like that, though. My favorite movies, music and/or books are anything I can dance to --- my 12 year old tastes stick with me, and so I have a particular fondness for "new wave". I also like Israeli top 40 music and classical. Lately, I've been reading histories of the mishnaic period.
